Crash & Burn is the latest release from UK native Charlie Grant, who has been steadily building a fanbase with his 2020 releases Stranger’s Eyes, Whatever Your Heart Desires and Wide Open. Crash & Burn was recorded in isolation between two Berlin studios in late 2020, Producer Jonathan Kluth taking Charlie’s home recorded vocals and guitars and building a soundscape around them in one inspired, late night session at his home studio.

Once in a while Charlie feels compelled to create his own versions of songs that he’s worked on for other artists, to show them in a whole new light. Crash & Burn was originally released by the popular Spanish YouTuber Melo Moreno in 2018 on her debut album Colours. The song deals with having to get out of a friendship with someone who is determined to self destruct before they drag you down with them.
